Most visitors come for cookies and cider during the open house in late November and December.

Kids can come in for Victorian dress-up or cooking parties from January to October.

Visiting the Ramsey House is fun. I especially like that the guides are in costume, and that there is so many peices of the Ramsey's actual stuff in the house. I especially enjoyed the Christmas programn. The only problem is that because of Historical Society budget cuts, they are open only on Fridays and Saturdays now, it's sad.
Pros: inexpensive, good location, free parking
Cons: needs to be open more

we just love those homemade cookies. Furnishings are awesome. don't miss the holiday decorations.
